With four numeric digits you would have to use an alpha prefix to make the numbers unique past 9999 (if that is what they wanted to do). It would be interesting to find out exactly what they did for 91/30's. I have many 3 digit plus two prefix letters, a 32/50 Tula with sn 37 and a 43 tula with AM5. I can't recall any of mine with more than four numeric digits though. Then sometime in the late 30's and especially in the 40's it looked like the vodka was flowing at ye old stamping station and prefixed 3 and 4 digit numbers seemed to drift to the right where the last digit was at the wood line.
